Happy Holidays everyone! Party season is around the corner, so I am here to make sure you look glamorous! This week on The Runway, I am going to explain four ways to make an outfit look luxurious. I think it is more appropriate to splurge on expensive accessories rather than clothing pieces. The right accessories can immediately make an outfit look more high end. For instance, jewelry can make an outfit pop; layering necklaces, stacking bracelets, rings, and statement earrings. Simple jewelry really enhances an outfit.
My first tip is to splurge on designer items that are timeless and will not go out of style. I bought the black leather double G Gucci belt and can wear it with anything. This belt instantly makes an outfit look upscale. Sunglasses are also appropriate to invest in. I purchased the Versace cat-eye shaped shades, and wear them all the time. Sunglasses enhance an outfit to look more luxurious. I also spend more money on purses, because if they are well kept, the bag will last a lifetime. I received the black medium MCM reversible Liz shopper in Visetos for my birthday. This bag adds a standout style to an everyday look.
My second tip is to keep a neutral color wardrobe. My clothing palette consists of mostly black, tan, white, navy, and occasionally a pop of color. Sticking to basic colors and solid prints really make an outfit look grand. A third tip I have is to collect a variety of shoes. The Pointed toe design is one of the most traditional and modern looking shoe styles and can renovate an outfit. There are several designs, colors, and textures of footwear that can instantly transform an outfit.
My fourth tip is to keep care of your garments. Make sure to iron or steam pieces before wearing them! This is an important tip because who wants a wrinkly blouse?? Purchasing a lint roller is a necessity because no one wants dog or cat hair, or fuzz on their clothes!
By using these four tips, I am positive that you will look well appointed and feel glamorous just in time for the holiday season! I will see you next week on Hannah Rose’s Runway with more holiday fun!
