All about Classic Tweed

July 31, 2018

Welcome to The Runway!

Over the past few months, I have started to become infatuated with tweed fabric. Tweed is originally from Southern Scotland and produced in the Tweed Valley.

There is nothing more iconic than a CoCo Chanel tweed piece. She enlisted a factory in Scotland and began producing tweed fabrics. Tweed became desired by many after a photograph of Ina Claire wearing a tweed Chanel dress, which was seen globally. Tweed is a staple part of the Chanel story and will continue on for more generations to come.

All of these tweed pieces are timeless and elegant! I hope you enjoy and become a tweed lover like me!
